World Class Teaching
We work with a highly specialised network of professional tutors in English, maths, as well as additional subjects and areas of expertise. Our 1:1 frameworks are methodical, thoroughly planned, and adaptive to student progress, with all of our tutors receiving expert direction and guidance, resulting in students feeling connected and immersed in their educational development whether they are preparing for exams or general development in a particular subject.
Our network of tutors are comprised of highly experienced and qualified educators that are specialists in their field of study; educated with at least a bachelors in the subject taught and often holding postgraduate degrees along with several years teaching experience. Our tutors also receive special training depending on the students they work with, particularly when coaching for entrance exams for academically selective private schools in the UK. Many of our tutors are also graduates from world-leading universities, including Oxbridge, Imperial, LSE and Harvard.
1:1 Tuition is available both in person and online.
We Specialise in Tuition for Entrance Exams Concerning London’s Top Private Schools
11+ and 13+
Our tutors are experts in 11+ preparation (including 13+ deferred entry) and 13+, all having multiple years experience of working closely with students to develop the fundamental to advanced skills and exam techniques required for London’s top schools, with over a decade of success helping students secure places at St. Paul’s, Godolphin, Latymer Upper, Westminster, KCS, and more. We also specialise in preparing for less academic (yet still competitive) schools such as Emanuel, Harrodian, Putney, and essentially prepare for schools all over London with a particular focus on Chelsea, Kensington, and Hammersmith, as well as other schools in London located in areas such as Hampstead, Highgate, Wimbledon, City of London, and Dulwich. Additionally, some of our tutors specialise in specific schools, including scholarship exams such as the Winchester Election. We can help assign your child a tutor specialising in English and VR, or maths and NVR.
Academic Interview Prep
The interview process is often misunderstood, as it is not merely a casual conversation but instead an extension of the exam, and various skills are tested during the interview including analysis of stimuli and verbal responses to philosophical questions. There are, of course, as well, the standard interview questions you can expect, and with our experience, we know how crucial answers given to even the simplest of questions can be. Our tutors are equipped to handle preparation for interviews of different schools, receiving our guidance and insight into what each school looks for and expects from prospective candidates.
7+ and 8+
We specifically train tutors to prepare younger children for earlier entry points into both junior and prep schools. With fewer places available at these entry points, and the growing popularity of Junior School entry, we understand that it is more important than ever for tutors to be well-equipped working with younger children for these exams. We can help assign your child a tutor specialising in English or maths, and with significant experience preparing for this level of entry.
16+ & Occasional Entry
The 16+ is a very challenging admissions process, and only our best and brightest tutors are qualified to prepare students for said examinations. We work with families preparing for a wide range of schools, although our specialty is in prep for the most competitive sixth forms including Westminster and Kings. We have tutors who can cover most subjects sat for 16+ entry, including tuition for the TSA examination (the Oxford Thinking Skills Assessment) often required for institutions such as Westminster. Likewise, when it comes to occasional place entry, depending on the year, we prep students for all subjects required when our qualified tutors are available. Likewise, securing an occasional place can be tricky, and so it is vital our top tutors work with older students to help them transition into the school right for them
Highly Experienced GCSE & A-Level Tuition
We have been supporting families preparing for GCSE exams for over a decade and fully understand what is required concerning the various examination boards and curriculums. Leading up to the exams, we help prepare students for English and maths exams, as well as offering 1:1 tuition for other subjects with particular reference to History and essay writing.
As with the GCSEs, A-level preparation is something we possess extensive experience in, and we work closely with students to develop their English exams, essay writing skills across a number of subjects, as well as high-level tuition in mathematics, often teaching students how to perform at an undergraduate level to help them stand out in their exams.
The services we offer in relation to the IB are very similar to A-Levels, although, with the added component of a more international curriculum support as well as guidance with time management and how to balance out skill development across multiple subjects. We also offer support in areas unique to the IB, including TOK (Theory of Knowledge).
Academic Coaching for Gifted Children
As we work with some of the best tutors in the UK, and considering our background in working primarily with young people who are highly intelligent and with genius level IQs, we are able to provide families with an intellectual coach who can understand, connect, and empathise with the unique struggles gifted children face, and be able to both recognise and help them realise their true potential. Similarly, an Initial Assessment must be conducted before families may have access to a tutor of this calibre to ensure we are setting up the right fit for the child in question. Many of these development frameworks depend on the cognitive makeup of the child (mathematically gifted or creatively gifted for example), and we help these young intellectuals in a manner of ways including providing mentors, delivering education above and beyond what is taught at school for their age, as well as providing courses in essay writing, creative writing, philosophical debate and general knowledge development.
